Obituary

Tom died peacefully in his sleep after a period of declining health on 1/4/23.

He was born, raised and lived on Catamount his whole life. He graduated from Mohawk high school and worked most of his life landscaping, retiring a few years ago.

He enjoyed yard work, his four wheeler, snowmobiling, his buddies and the Buffalo Bills.

Even though he sometimes had a gruff exterior, anyone who knew Tom knows he would do anything for a friend or family and did. He was a very kind soul.

He will be greatly missed by his many longtime friends and family.

He is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Anne Maloney. He leaves his siblings Toni Maloney of Colrain and Daniel Maloney of Leyden; nephew Benjamin of Boston and his husband Scott; niece Elizabeth and her husband Michael Archer of Greenfield along with his great niece and nephew Delaney and Dylan Archer. He also leaves several cousins and his Uncle Dick of Florida and Uncle Jim of Ashfield.

There will be no services. A celebration of his life and contribution to his community will occur at a later date.

In honor of Tom, please take care of your neighbors and always be kind with a chuckle and a twinkle in your eye.
