Teresa M. (Galipo) Peters

Heath- Teresa M. (Galipo) Peters, 90, passed away on Dec. 13, 2024 at the home of her daughter in Halifax, Vt

Teresa was born July 2, 1934 the daughter of Francis and Nora (Lively) Galipo. She was a graduate of Arms Academy in Shelburne Falls.

Teresa and her husband Cleon owned and operated the former Peter’s General Store in Heath years ago. She later became machine shop supervisor at Bete Fog Nozzle in Greenfield.

Survivors include her daughter, Crystal Griswold and her husband Bob, her granddaughter Holly Griswold of Beacon Falls, CT, her grandson Thomas Griswold of Wilmington, VT, her great grandchildren Brooklynn, Clare, Parker and Paisley, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Teresa was predeceased by her son Michael on Feb. 9, 1997 and her husband Cleon on Aug. 3, 2018.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph’s Church, 34 Monroe Ave., Shelburne Falls. A light reception will follow in the church hall. Burial will take place in the spring.
