Teresa Lynn Palermo age 54 of Shelburne Falls, Ma formerly of Barrington Hills, Il., passed on October 25, 2022 after a long and valiant fight. Terry was at home with her devoted family by her side. Terry is at rest.
Terry is survived by the greatest loves of her life, her children Max Accardo Carr, Lucy Sky Carr and Porter Marshall Carr. Above all else her greatest accomplishment was her children. Terry was a dedicated mother who treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She poured love into her children as she encouraged them to follow their dreams.
She is also survived by her beloved mother Linda Palermo (Accardo) of Barrington, Il, Her devoted sisters Christina Palermo Santiago of Lake Barrington Il and Clarissa Palermo of Elmhurst Il. Also her brother Michael Palermo.
Terry also leaves behind many friends who loved her dearly and she loved fiercely.
Terry was loved by her nieces Cecily Santiago and Tatiana Sorrell and her nephews Joseph Palermo and John Palermo.
Terry was preceded in death by her father Michael Palermo and her grandparents Anthony and Clarice Accardo and Herks and Vita Palermo who all loved her dearly.
Terry grew up in River Forest and Barrington Il, and lived in numerous places until she finally settled in Western Ma.
Some of Terrys adventures included working for Greenpeace and crewing on a sailboat in the Virgin Islands. Terry loved all kinds of boats and spent as much time on them as she could.
Terry was an avid Phish and Grateful Dead fan. She traveled across the United States and Mexico to attend their concerts, making lifelong friends along the way.
