Teresa Mae (Currier) Hall

Teresa Mae (Currier) Hall, 92, of River St., passed peacefully on May 13, 2019.

She was born in Griswoldville May 31, 1926 the daughter of Alfred and Eva (Demarias) Currier. She attended local schools and graduated from Arms Academy in 1946. After high school she was a bookkeeper at the former Kendall Mills.

On October 4, 1947 she was married to Lyle Hall. They were together for over 60 years until his death in 2008. They operated the Lyle Hall Lumber Co in Colrain and she was bookkeeper for the company until her retirement.

Lyle and Teresa were very active in their lives together. They went to just about all the county fairs in the three state radius with their constant companions Lefty and Betty. In the winters, they went to Boynton Beach, FL where they had many friends including John and Barbara Traynor.

At home she was always busy around the house. She liked being outside raking, mowing, tending a garden and going for walks. She loved spending time with her family, especially her great grandson Carter.

Survivors include a son Tom (Belinda) Hall and a daughter Julie (Jamie) Hall, all from Colrain, as well as five grandchildren; Gale (Dick) Hillman, John, Chris (Sabrina) Bennett, Josh (Savannah), Jordyn (Troy) and three great grandchildren Tobias, Carter and soon to be Brody.

In accordance with her wishes for a graveside service, the service will be Friday, May 17 at 10:00 am at West Branch Cemetery in Colrain.

There are no calling hours.
