Robert C. Herzig

Robert C. Herzig, 84, of Coburn St., passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023 following a brief illness.

Bob was born in Greenfield, MA on August 28, 1939 the son of Leonard and Nellie (Caron) Herzig.

As a young adult Bob worked with area loggers and farmers before he became a warehouse worker for the former Kendall Mills in Colrain.

A life-long resident of Colrain, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his son Charles Herzig and his wife Karen of Colrain, a grandson Eric Herzig and his partner Stephanie Coutu of Colrain, his two grandsons Cooper and Brody, a brother William Herzig of Greenfield, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in the spring of 2024.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Linda Manor Extended Care Facility for their care and attention for Bob during his brief residency there. They would also like to thank Pioneer Valley Hospice for their support and comfort care.
