Patricia G. (Greene) Miner, 97, formerly of Spruce St., passed away Saturday January 18, 2025, at Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility.
She was born in North Adams, MA on July 12, 1927 the daughter of Everett and Muriel (Brown) Greene.
Years ago she taught swimming lessons for the American Red Cross. She would travel in her car to various ponds, lakes and swimming pools to teach people how to swim and how to be safe around water. Each day may have been a different location but she enjoyed traveling and teaching kids and adults.
She was a fan of all sports. From high school age to the pros it didn’t matter what the sport was, she liked watching the action.
Prior to moving back to this area to be closer to her family, Patricia lived in Sarasota, FL for 14 years where she could bask in the sun and feel the ocean on her feet.
Patricia was a wonderful lady who had a kind word for all and could see the goodness in everyone.
Survivors include her children; Nancy (Robert) Voetsch, Todd (Karen) Miner, Shawn (Nicolene Corey) Miner, her grandchildren Debra Winn, Susan Rogers, Alex, Tyler, Nicole and Avery Miner, great grandchildren Samantha Butynski, Robert Brook, Morgan Winn, Samuel and Lillian Rogers, gr. gr. grandchildren Johanna and Parker Butynski.
Patricia was predeceased by her husband Arthur J. Miner, a brother Everett Greene and a sister Norma Lapointe.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
