Mary Call

Greenfield - Mary Call, 84, formerly of 54 High St., passed away peacefully on May 13, 2023 at the Greenfield Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Mary was born in Brattleboro, VT on February 4, 1939 one of seven children of Glenn P. and Mabel C. (LaVielette) Call. She grew up with her family living in Guilford, VT.

Mary was employed as a nurse for many years at the former Franklin Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Greenfield.

Mary’s greatest joy was her family. She cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed baking, cooking and family get togethers when Mary could share her culinary skills with the ones she loved the most. Her happiest and proudest moments were with her family.

Mary’s beloved family includes her two sons; David Newell and Skip Newell, both of Greenfield, her two daughters; Terri King and Susan M. Newell, both of Pittsfield, MA, her eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews.

Mary was predeceased by all her siblings.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
