M. Arlene (Sibley) Andognini, age 88, of Rowe, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at
Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, Sunday April 14, 2024.Born at her grandparents home in
Rowe, October 5, 1935, (the same year as Elvis). She was predeceased by her son Randy
Andognini (1981), her parents Clifford and Mary (Davenport) Sibley, and the love of her life,
Philip Nadeau (1996). Arelene graduated from Charlemont High School in 1953.
Arelene was known for her kindheartedness, youthful vitality, and witty sense of humor. She was
a lover of animals of all kinds and especially loved her Airedale Terriers and her parrots. She
lived in Zephyrhills, Florida for 20 years, before returning home to Rowe.She worked for the
Florida Department of Corrections, where she was a valued employee for many years.
Following her retirement, in an effort to bring a spark of light to seniors, she performed as a
clown in various venues and events. In keeping with Arlene’s wishes, a small, graveside service
will be held at a later date.
