Leo Jerome Kelleher, 72, of Meadowood Dr., passed away on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023, with his loving wife Donna, by his side.
Leo was born in Greenfield on October 19, 1951 the son of Leo J. and Marion (Robichaud) Kelleher. He attended local schools and graduated from Greenfield (?) High School, class of 1969(?).
Leo was a sales representative for the John Deere Manufacturing Company and received Top Salesman honors for 13 years in a row.
While he was accomplished in his career, it was his family that he was most proud of. Leo was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He cherished his family and they cherished him.
In his free time he loved to play golf and he always had a project going on around the house. He was a master carpenter prior to working for John Deere and he always saw areas around the home that needed to be “improved”.
He is survived by his dear family: wife Donna MacNicol, son Patrick Ryan Kelleher of Houston, TX, daughter Kathleen Devon Kelleher of Greenfield, his grandchildren Jayson James Smith, Harlon Kelleher Hickey and Rowen Kelleher Hickey, sisters Rosemary Kelleher of West Wareham, MA and Karen Murphy of South Dennis, MA and his niece Jennifer Murphy of South Dennis, MA and nephew Sean Murphy of Bernardston, MA.
Leo was predeceased by his parents and brother William D. Kelleher.
Calling hours will be Wednesday evening, Nov. 15, from 5 to 7 pm at the Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home, 87 Franklin St., Greenfield.
A Catholic Prayer service will be held Thursday, Nov. 16, at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Flowers will be accepted but if you may also make a donation to the charity of one’s choice.
