Howard E. Biltz

Howard E. Biltz, 48, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.

He was born in South Bend, Indiana on January 13, 1975 the son of Dale and Susan (Sigrist) Biltz. He grew up in Wakarusa, IN and at the age of 20 moved to western Massachusetts.

After a few years in the food service and hardware store industry, Howard began his career as a sales representative for the Brockway-Smith Co. in Hatfield. He had been employed there for 24 years.

Howard was a gentle, fun loving, and kind friend who always had a smile or joke to share. His sense of humor and honesty endeared him to those who were fortunate enough to know him. He loved being around his family and friends.

He enjoyed gardening, shopping, fishing and kayaking, Lego’s, anything Sci-Fi, and he was an accomplished chess player.

Howard was loved by many, and will be deeply missed.

Howard’s family includes his spouse Brandon Lively, their sons; Nicholas Scribner, Jayson Scribner and Johnathan Scribner, his mother Susan Biltz of Wakarusa, IN, sisters Ellen Biltz and Jackie Westort of Wakarusa, IN, and Karen Biltz of South Bend, IN, nephews Noah Biltz, Ben and Alex Taylor, nieces Shannon and Sarah Taylor, and many more loved ones. 

A Celebration of Howard’s life will take place at the convenience of the family.
