Greenfield- Hilda B. “Bonnie” Lundrigan, 73, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of January 16, 2025.
Bonnie was born on May 31, 1951 in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada one of 16 children of Kenneth and Voilet (Pardy) Lundrigan. She contracted meningitis at the age of 18 months and as a result, she lost the ability to hear. She graduated from the Hartford School for the Deaf and later taught sign language to both the impaired and the gifted.
She was a talented decorator, loved crafting of all kinds and enjoyed painting bird houses. She kept a beautiful home. She was independent, confident in her opinions, honest and she loved life.
Survivors include Shirley (Domingo) Cordero, Mildred (Tom) Rogers, Cora Stone, Madge Boysen, Gloria (Charles) Coates, Marilyn Johnson, Lorraine Lundrigan, Joan (Alex) Ryan, Milicent (Abel) Stewart, a niece Bonnie (Scott) Doneilo who she was very close to, along with numerous other nieces, nephews and a sister-in-law June Lundrigan.
She was predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Violet, siblings and their spouses; Nathaniel (Wilda), Kenneth (Helen), Violet (Johnny), William, Arthur (Ida), Cynthia (Ray) Fuentes and her long time companion Alfred Blair.
A graveside service will be held in the spring in Plain Cemetery in Ashfield, on a day and time to be announced.
