Eric LaPointe (age and other boring legal crap that gets added). Most obituaries are boring so I wrote my own.
First, to my son's Justin and Tyler LaPointe. I am so proud of both of you. Love and take care of each other. It’s important not just now but for your future. Know that I’m watching from the sidelines and will be there if you need me. Also, be there for mom. You 3 are stronger together. Dreams are not always just dreams. Ask your mother she will explain that.
To my grandson Jaxen LaPointe and my daughters Alyce LaPointe and Khrystal Smith. Wish we had more time together I love you with all my heart - the boys chose well.
To my best friend, soul mate, my one and only and wife Jada LaPointe. First, I'm so sorry baby. I know you used all you have and fought like hell for me. This isn't your fault. Second, you are braver and stronger than you think. You have got this. Take care of yourself - sleep and eat. Ask for help when you need it. You have nothing to prove to anyone - ever. You're perfect just as you are. Thank you for choosing me. It has been an amazing beautiful life and one hell of an adventure with you. Lastly, remember that I love you with all my heart for eternity and I'm right there with you.
To my mother Andrea LaPointe, life was just so cruel to you. I am so sorry for the pain you are feeling right now. No parent should out live both their children. I have so much to say but don't know how. I love you very much will have to do. Thanks for being you.
To John Ryan, Dad thanks for being the Dad I always needed. For being who you are and all you have done for me over the years. It was an honor to call you Dad, and I love you. Please take care of her and keep her safe.
In closing to everyone else, be kind to each other, help where you can, and do good in this world. Tomorrow is never promised. This isn't goodbye it's see you later. As Dad would say, “the adventure continues make it count.”
A private burial will take place.
