Eleanor A. (Yanek) Geroulo, 89, passed away at home on Sunday, January 20, 2019.
A resident of Williamstown, MA for many years, Eleanor moved to Greenfield approximately 10 years ago to be closer to her daughter Janet "Jan" Puchalski and son-in-law David "Dave".
Eleanor was a gentle and loving mother to her children. From their first steps as a child to the present day, she loved and cared for them unconditionally.
Her love of children was evident in her role of administrative assistant for the Williamstown Elementary School system, a title she held for decades until her retirement in 1996.
In her free time Eleanor enjoyed maintaining her garden and spending time outdoors admiring the beauty of her home and family.
Devoted to her faith, Eleanor attended daily Mass at St. Patrick's Church in Williamstown and volunteered her time supporting the church and becoming involved in various events and celebrations.
Eleanor is survived by her loving children; Michael Geroulo and his wife Kathryn of Plattsburg, NY, Paul Geroulo and his wife Sarah of Leesburg, VA, Mary Jean Geroulo of Dallas, TX, and Janet Puchalski and her husband David of Greenfield.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Jan. 25, at 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Church, 133 Main St., Greenfield with Rev. Timothy Campoli, Pastor as celebrant.
A visiting hour will precede the Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 at the Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home, 87 Franklin St., Greenfield.
Burial services will be private and at the convenience of the family in East Lawn Cemetery in Williamstown.
