Eilene C. (Cain) Scott

Eilene C Scott, 83, of Buckland, passed away 9/4/21 at Charlene Manor. She was born in Livermore Falls, ME on March 19, 1938 to Colby and Winnie (Tilton) Cain.  
Eilene graduated from Farmington High School and Duke Nursing School.  She married Russell Scott on June 17, 1960.  
She worked as a waitress at the Whale Inn before starting her career at Franklin Medical Center as an LPN.  Eilene’s father-in-law was known to frequently say “if it’s snowing, Eilene must be working.”   
She enjoyed square dancing and camping with her husband.  Later volunteering at the Shelburne Senior Center. 
Predeceased by her parents and husband.  
Survived by children Tina (Bill) Burnett, Conway; Christopher (Susan), Northfield; Susan (Kyle) McDonald, Buckland. Grandchildren; Colleen Walker, Caitlin Burnett and Connor Scott. Great-granddaughter; Callie Walker; sister-in-law Barbara Scott, Buckland; several nieces and nephews. 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Buckland Volunteer Fire Department or Pioneer Valley Hospice. 
The family will be having a private gathering at a later date.
