Edwin A. (Eddy) Rose

Conway- It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Edwin A. “Eddy” Rose.

Eddy was the son of Clement and Beatrice Rose who resided on Mountain Rd in South Deerfield. He was the last of four brothers. He was predeceased by his first wife Evelyn Gearhart as well as daughter Holly who passed in 1990.

He is survived by his wife Mary (Recore) and son Greg, both of Conway. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.

Eddy meant much to many people. Shortly before his passing, he and Mary celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. He was a devoted husband, loving father and friend to many.

Eddy was a US Army veteran and worked as a surveyor, draftsman, teacher and cook. He was a skilled commercial pilot as well.

He will be sadly missed and was a man who touched many peoples’ lives.

It was his wish that there be no services.
