Edith A. (Sierakoski) Williams, 87, formerly of Prospect St., passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 at the Center for Extended care in Amherst.
Edith was born in Montague, MA on March 23, 1935 the daughter of John and Stella (Matweski) Sierakoski.
As the mother of 8 sons she was always working hard to provide for her family. Edith had many different job titles over the years from machine operator at Millers Falls Tool to bar manager at the former Bernardston Inn.
Survivors include her sons; Benjamin “Ben” Linscott, John Linscott both of Turners Falls, Walter “Wally” Williams of Greenfield, Michael “Mike” Williams of Greenfield, Steven “Steve” Williams of Turners Falls, William “Billy” Williams of Turners Falls, Raymond “Ray” Williams of Keene, NH, a brother John Sierakoski, two sisters Julie Corbier of Maine and Alice Adams of Montague, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Edith was predeceased by her husband Roger Williams and son Edward Williams.
Informal visiting hours will take place from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, April 23 at the Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home, 87 Franklin St., Greenfield.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
