Donna G. (Waterman) Interlande

Donna G. (Waterman) Interlande, 83, passed away at home with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.

Donna was born in Greenfield on April 9, 1939 the daughter of Wayne and Arlene (Crocker) Waterman. She graduated from Greenfield High School, class of ’56.

Donna was manager of the Men’s and Children’s departments of Wilson’s Department store for many years.

At home, Donna enjoyed gardening, cross-stitch, supporting the Red Sox and Patriots, but her greatest love was her family and friends. She was proud of her family and all their accomplishments. She was a devoted friend who was always there with a kind word and emotional support.

Donna’s loving family includes her 3 sons; Larry and his wife Bev of Greenfield, Richard of Daytona Beach, FL, Joseph of Carpinteria, CA, 2 grandsons; Tony and his wife Kayla of Maine, Benjamin of Greenfield, 2 great grandsons; Calvin and Jackson, 3 brothers; David Waterman of CT, Wayne Waterman of SC, Sheldon Crocker of FL, dear friends Jaqueline Cassidy and Regis Johnston, and many nieces and nephews.

Donna was predeceased by her father Wayne Waterman and step-mother Dorothy, her mother Arlene DeFazio and step-father Enrico, and brothers Scott Waterman and Kevin Crocker.

A visiting hour for family and friends will be held Saturday, Jan. 28 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home, 87 Franklin St., Greenfield. A funeral service will follow at 11:00. Burial will immediately follow the service at Green River Cemetery.
