Charles F. Bardwell, 72, of Mechanic St., passed away at home on Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
Charlie was born in Greenfield, MA on January 31, 1950 the son of Deane and Lina (Eastman) Bardwell. He was a member of the first graduating class from Mohawk Trail Regional High School, class of 1968.
He worked for the former Stewarts Nursery and Mohawk Cleaning but retired from Kendall Mill in Colrain.
He was a member of the National Rifle Assoc. and the Catamount Sportsman Club.
Charlie loved old cars and their history. He was an avid collector of automotive magazines and publications. He was especially proud of his Model A Ford.
Charlie and his wife Teena enjoyed camping and traveling to Florida to spend the winters. Teena predeceased Charlie in December of 2018.
A graveside service for Charlie will take place on Tuesday, March 15 at 11:00 am in Arms Cemetery in Shelburne Falls.
There are no other services.
