Pamela Jean (Miller) Avery,69, died on November 9,2018 at home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with ALS.
She was born on November 29,1948 at the Franklin County Public Hospital. The daughter of Francis L Miller Sr. and Emeline Lombard (Day).
She attended Greenfield Public Schools.
Pamela worked for the Rice Oil Company for 23 years starting as an office clerk and ended her tenure there as their senior support analyzer. Pam then worked at Community Action until she retired earlier this year.
Pamela loved to watch her grandchildren in all of their activities and sporting events. She enjoyed taking cruises and trips to the casino with her friends.
Pamela leaves her former husband Michael L. Avery, Sr of Greenfield, a son Michael L Avery of Greenfield, a son Robby A Avery and his wife Sherri of Greenfield and a son Cameron L Avery of Greenfield. She also leaves 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
Services will be on Thursday November 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home In Greenfield followed by the burial at Green River Cemetery. A visiting hour will begin at 10 am until the service at 11.
