Todd L. Draper, 49, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at home with his loving wife Joanne and son Ethan (6) by his side.
Todd was born in Nashua, NH on February 6, 1974 the son of Richard and Elaine (Barns) Draper. After graduating from high school, he moved to Michigan to expand his love of cooking and enrolled in the Culinary Program at Schoolcraft College where he earned his degree.
As a talented chef he created dishes for various kitchens including Tapawingo in Michigan, Shoals Marine Lab on Appledore Island off the coast of Maine, Deerhill Inn near Mt. Snow Vermont, Northfield Mount Hermon, Thomas Aquinas College, and most recently at Atwaters Cafe in Baystate Hospital. His wife would eagerly await for his home-cooked meals which would never disappoint (except for the Italian sauce).
Away from his busy career, Todd was a lover of the outdoors which he shared with his wife who struggled to keep up on the trails. He was an avid bicyclist, enjoyed kayaking, hiking and camping, visiting the White Mountains, anything that brought him into the outdoors. He also had a passion for cars always looking for more modifications to add, many times to his wife’s disliking.
What brought him the most joy and pleasure was playing and spending time with his son Ethan. He shared his affection of cars and taught him all that he could in the short 6 years of his fatherly love.
Todd’s beloved and devoted family include his wife Joanne Larson, to whom he was married on May 16, 2015, their son Ethan, his brother Chad Draper, uncle David Draper and aunt Stephanie Draper.
Services will be private and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, NH .
His wife invites you all to come to his celebration of life at the funeral home, 87 Franklin Street in Greenfield, on Tuesday wearing your finest Hawaiian shirt and memories to share if you are so inclined.
