Timothy J. Schofield, 66, of South Main St., passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Cooley-Dickinson Hospital in Northampton.
He was born in North Adams on May 26, 1959 the son of Ernest and Jasmine (Weeks) Schofield. He was a graduate of Mohawk Trail Reg. High School and Greenfield Community College where he studied computer software technology.
He was employed for many years at the Yankee Candle Company as a member of the sales team and later retired from Simon Stamps as manager.
Tim truly loved gardening and the area around his home displayed how talented he was. Imagine a lush, meticulous, colorful, bright and bountiful garden and you see the time and effort that he dedicated to his garden.
He also expressed his care and thoughtfulness to those around him. He was a kind and loving caregiver and would help anyone in need of support. He was an easy going and kind soul.
His loving survivors include his partner and best friend of over 20 years, Shane Cinney, brother Michael Schofield of Hawley, sisters Sandy Morann of Plainfield and Carole Annear of Houlton, ME, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friend Rena McDonough.
He was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Jasmine, brother David and sister Jan.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 14, at 1:00pm, at the Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home, 87 Franklin St., Greenfield.
