Richard P. (Dick) Bellor

Richard (Dick) P. Bellor 91, passed away on December 29, 2025. He was born July 6, 1934 in Heath, MA to Phillip and Sadie (Galvin) Bellor. Dick attended Arms Academy in Shelburne Falls, MA.

Dick, Dickie, Uncle Dick loved his family and friends most. He took care of his entire family and checked in on them often to make sure things were good. He met his wife Peggy (Abbott) working at Millers Falls Tool and started a family. He worked many jobs and passed on his work ethic to his kids. He loved farming and always mentioned his cows and enjoyed car rides with his granddaughter looking for them in Colrain and Heath. Dick became a top salesman in the RV world for Long View and Vermont Traveler and enjoyed antiquing in his later years. Survived by his children, Brian of Shelburne and Shelley (Tom) Silva of Erving, his grandchildren Briana Richotte and Nick Lapan and grandsons Dax and Jaxson. He is survived by his sisters, Marion Lagerberg, Marjorie (Lewis) Porrovecchio, Marilyn Kelsey, Margaret Compehos and sister-in-Law Desiree Bellor, cousins, nieces, and nephews as well as his kitty companion Suzi. He was predeceased by his parents, wife Peggy, son Keith, and brother Bobby.

Join in celebrating his life on Saturday, January 10, 2026 between 10am-12pm at Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home, Church Street, Shelburne, Falls, MA. In lieu of flowers feel free to donate to Dakin shelter or any animal shelter or to March of Dimes.
