Margaret (Germain) Thibodeau

Margaret (Germain) Thibodeau, 94, of 2 Main Road, Colrain, died Friday, July 7, at Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility in Greenfield.

She was born in Worcester, Ma, November 7, 1922, the daughter of Merril and Edna (LaRock) Germain.

Margaret was employed for several years at the former Kendall Mills in Griswoldville before retiring to raise her children.

She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Griswoldville.

She was also a member of the Shelburne Senior Center.

Margaret was an avid cribbage player, crocheter, and Red Sox fan.

She was the widow of John Thibodeau.

Survivors include her daughter Rita (Ken) Herzig of Colrain and her son Mark Thibodeau and longtime partner Robin Sissum also of Colrain; grandchildren Lizzie, Sarah, Lacey and Emily and 3 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 11, at 11:00 am at Howland Cemetery in Conway.

There are no calling hours.

It is suggested donations may made to a charity of one’s choice.
