I worked with Doris off and on in Physical Therapy for the last several years at her home. She was a lovely woman and always the perfect hostess. She was ever concerned for the comfort and well being of her caregivers, and tried to do her best to do what was asked of her, even when it was very difficult for her to do so. I will remember her fondly. I wish for you, her family, peace and happy memories.

I did not know Doris personally, but my daughter, Grey Marchese, was part of her caregiving team for a period of time, and Grey simply adored Doris. She admired her wit, sense of humor, and the grace she exhibited as she surrendered to her limitations.
