Barbara J. (Dyer) Clark

Shelburne Falls- Barbara J. (Dyer) Clark, 75, of Highland Village and formerly of Ashfield, died Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility in Greenfield.

     Barbara was born in Ashfield on June 5, 1943 the daughter of Gordon and Lorraine (Rocke) Dyer. Survivors include four sons; James Armstrong of Montville, CT, Mike Armstrong of Casco, ME,

Arthur Newton of Alton, NH, William “Bill” Newton of Berwick, ME, a daughter Tammy Cormier of West Virginia, two step-sons Barry Newton and Robert Newton both of Colchester, CT, a step-daughter Angela Locke of Milton, NH, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two brothers Jeffrey Dyer of Ashfield and Bill Dyer of Massachusetts.

     Barbara was predeceased by her husband Dennis Clark in 2013.

     Barbara was employed as a Certified Nurses’ Assistant at health care facilities including the Ashfield House, the McGinnis Home in Berwick, ME, the Saint Anne’s Home in Dover, NH and the Baccus Hospital in Connecticut.

     In her free time she enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles and playing bingo.

     A graveside service will take place Saturday, Sept. 8, at 1:00 pm at Plain Cemetery in Ashfield.

     There are no calling hours.
