Alan H. Booth

Alan H. Booth, 86, of Bassett Rd., Heath, died Wednesday, November 29, 2017.

     Alan was born in Waltham, MA on December 24, 1930 the son of Robert N. and Evelyn F. (Creed) Booth.

     A veteran of the Korean War, he enlisted at the age of 19 in the US Air Force and served as an aircraft mechanic until his Honorable Discharge in 1953 having attained the rank of Staff Sgt.

     Alan continued his career as an aircraft mechanic working for American Airlines for 35 years, retiring on February 1, 1991.

     Survivors include his wife Carolyn (Smith) Booth of Heath, two sons; James Alan Booth of Osterville, MA and Jeffrey Booth of Andover, MA, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

     He was predeceased by his sister Joyce Howell.

     Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
