Dear Pam, Ed, & Victoria, I've known Thomas since he was a baby. Saw him grow into a impressive and wonderful adult. His fortitude and dignity was inspiring. Your love brought that out in him and he accomplished much in his 34 years. I shall miss him and will always keep him in my heart.

Pam and Ed and your families - I only met Thomas a few times but he certainly achieved great heights, and your loss must be enormous. Am thinking of you in your sorrow.

Having just learned of Thomas' passing, I feel the selfish, sharp pain of grief over the loss of such a fine guy. I feel very lucky to have memories of Thomas laughing at my corny jokes and weird sense of humor, and reminding me several times that I was going the wrong way on Rt. 2 when we headed to the Y in Greenfield.

I have had him, and you Pam and Victoria, on my mind since returning to California, and more so recently. Now I know why.

As soon as this ache in my chest lessens, and my tears stop, I will thank the great infinite that I was able to know Thomas and you, Pam and Victoria. My very best to his dad. Please give Shiloh a big hug for me. I am so very sorry.

It was a privilege to know Thomas for many years. Here was a bright light in our world, a healer by example and by his charming presence. May his memory live on and on as a blessing to the lives of his dear family and to all whose lives he touched.

Dear Pam, Ed, and Victoria,
I was so saddened to hear of Thomas's passing. He brought so much light and hope into the world and I feel so lucky to have had the chance to work with him during his years at the Center School. It was wonderful to read about all of his adult adventures and accomplishments and his deep commitment to making the world a better place for people with disabilities. He is truly an inspiration and I will always remember his courage, intelligence, determination, and incredibly endearing smile. I am thinking of all of you during this difficult time.

Dear Ed,
I was sad to read of Thomas' passing in today's Recorder. I can imagine that you and he spent much more time together than the average father and son as every time I was at an event at the Art's Block he was there with you. Thomas certainly lived an active and full life which must bring some solace. Do take care during this difficult time.

My heartfelt sympathy as I grieve with you and your family and many friends of Thomas's. I first say this notice in the paper today, while sitting in the front of the co-op, where I'd seen Thomas and Shiloh many times, and sometimes at the Y...only this time I was weeping, in grief and in joy in Thomas's life and radiance.

I last remember Thomas floating in the new chair in the Green River this summer, and sharing the joy. This must be hard on Shiloh, but I know you are caring for him too. I'm so grateful to read this tribute to Thomas. Sending Pam warmest hugs.

I always admired Thomas' commitment to exercise at the Y and saw him often. He and his dog and his aide were very much a part of my days at the Y for a period of time. My condolences on your loss.
