Sharon E. (Hutchison) LaBelle

Sharon E. (Hutchison) LaBelle, 79, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, November 6, 2016.

Sharon was born in Fostoria, Kansas on June 15, 1937, the daughter of Charles and Thelma (Downey) Hutchison. She attended school in Burlingame, Kansas and graduated from Burlingame High School in 1955.

She married Paul S. LaBelle at Assumption Church in Topeka, Kansas on July 28, 1956 and moved with him to Buckland, MA.

Sharon worked for many years in local banks and retired from the Bank of Western Mass in 1999. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved to spend time with friends and test her luck at local casinos.

She was a faithful communicant of St. Joseph's Parish in Shelburne Falls for more than 50 years.

Sharon watches over her loving spouse Paul, with whom she celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on July 28. She also watches over her three children; Karen Morse (Robert) of Buckland, Randal LaBelle of Sunderland, Michael (Lori) LaBelle of Saratoga, NY, her four grandchildren; Sarah (Kevin) Blinn, Alexander Morse, Emily (Jon) Mendez and Paul Andrew (Izabel) LaBelle.

Sharon was a loving wife, mother and grandmother but was also known as Mimi to her two beloved great grandchildren Liam and Mollis Blinn.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, November 11 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph's Church, 34 Monroe Ave., Shelburne Falls. Burial will follow in Arms Cemetery in Shelburne Falls.

Visiting hours will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home, 40 Church St., Shelburne Falls.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Joseph's Church, 34 Monroe Ave., Shelburne Falls, MA 01370
