February 17, 1992 ~ August 4, 2016 (age 24) 24 Years Old

Natalee Alyssa Cass Sanborn, 24, died on Thursday, August 4, 2016.

Natalee was born on February 17, 1992 to Richard Sanborn and Susan Cass. Natalee was a graduate of Mohawk Trail Regional High School, class of 2010.

Natalee loved the outdoors, family trips to Old Orchard Beach, Maine, Christmas and Thanksgivings at home. As a youth she played several sports including ice hockey, softball, volleyball, but her favorite was horseback riding. Natalee loved animals, especially her horse Molly. Natalee loved the water and as a little girl would spend hours in the family pool with her brother Nate, as well as playing by the brook.

Natalee loved and cherished her daughter Hazel above all else. Natalee was so proud of Hazel, and enjoyed looking at the world through her eyes as she grew. They spent many hours playing princesses, swimming, coloring, and spending quiet time watching movies.

Natalee had many friends who loved her dearly, as she loved them. Her closest friends describe Natalee as a giving, loving, vivacious, caring person. If she considered you a friend she was fiercely loyal and also welcoming.

Besides her parents Rick and Sue, she leaves her beloved daughter Hazel Shulda and Hazel's dad Zac, her brother Nathaniel Sanborn and his partner Emily Sharp, and her maternal grandmother Audrey Cass. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as her closest friends Kelsey, Felina, and Krystle, as well as many others.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather Lloyd Cass and her paternal grandparents Edward and Dorothy Sanborn.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society at www.dpvhs.org or the Franklin County Sheriff's Regional Dog Shelter in Turners Falls, MA
