Marion B. (Pierce) Pearce

     Marion B. (Pierce) Pearce, 82, of Lower St., died at home Saturday, November 19, surrounded by her loving family.

     Marion was born in Warren, VT on December 10, 1933 the daughter of Hiram and Freda (Thompson) Pierce.

     Marion was married to Roger Pearce on June 24, 1950 and celebrated 66 years together.    

     A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Marion enjoyed crocheting, knitting and spending time with her family.

     Survivors include her loving husband Roger, a son Alfred “Tony” Pearce of North Adams, MA, five daughters; Rose M. Pearce of Colrain, Robin M. Pearce of Colrain, Donna L. Stone and her husband James of Bluffton, SC, Sharon L. Folino and her husband Theodore of Wilmington, VT, Dawn E. Hyytinen and her husband Daniel of Buckland, 13 grandchildren; Roger, Alfred Jr. “Tony”, Angela, Melinda, Roger, Sebrina, Lewis, Nicole, James, Larry, Jessica, Daniel and Kimberlyn, several great grandchildren, 3 brothers Merlin Pierce of Warren, VT, Elwin Pierce of Warren, VT, Carl Pierce of North Adams, MA, 3 sisters; Corrine Whitney and Hester Whitney of North Adams, MA, Harriet Whitney of Warren, VT, several nieces and nephews.

     Marion was predeceased by a son Roger, Jr. in 1951.

     A celebration of Marion’s life will take place Saturday, November 26 at the Shelburne Falls Eagles Hall located on State Street, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, all are welcome.

     In lieu of flowers, it is requested memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Franklin County, 329 Conway St., Greenfield, MA 01301.
