Dear Sue, Woody and all,
I am sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. A mother means so much to us and it's hard to say goodbye, I know, to someone who has been such an integral part of our lives for so long. Hoping that beautiful memories will help you through the coming days. Sending prayers for peace and comfort.
Sincerely,
Becky

I will always remember my summer vacations with your Mom & her sister Shirley. We would go shopping downtown Northampton & then go to the movies at the Calvin. I don't think I have ever met a more talented person in my life. I really admired her in so many ways. I will truly miss her. My condolences to all the family.

Sue, I was so sorry to hear about your Mom. I have many fond memories of her. I see her smiling face while she worked at the Ashfield house and distinctly remember her asking big me if I took vitamins at breakfast time when I stayed overnight in-maybe?- second grade? She probably thought I looked like a waif and needed them!! She was a caring, kind lady and i’m glad I met her. Our thoghts and prayers are with you and all your family.. kathy

Your message is the one that got me crying (in a good way) 1st, which I had not done much of yet. Your description of mom was perfect. She did like chubby kids. I remember your mother being so happy with me for eating bread with my dinner at your house because you didn't like bread. Must be the depression era thinking that they were raised with. There's been a lot of water over the dam since we were kids. thanks for all the laughs along the way. ( I had to take a teaspoon of cod liver oil every morning/ hopefully mom didn't offer you that)

Joanie was my older cousin. She was the cute little flower girl at my parent's wedding in '39. I remember her as a sweet and happy person who loved children. Our prayers and hearts are with the family. Our own emotions are still quite raw as my mom just passed away at 100 years old, so we feel the roller-coaster ride of emotions you all must be feeling at this sad time. Love, Sonia Sandin Kuperis

Your message meant a lot to me. I also remember your mother and her family picnics. it seemed like a long trip to Longmeadow but lots of fun. 100 years! wow! It seems that the childhood memories are the most painful to recall. I also enjoyed receiving your beautiful hand me downs. I had a personal boutique. Thank you so much for responding.

thank you for contacting us. mom had many fond memories of visits with her cousins. She experienced some struggles with chronic illnesses for herself and my dad in later years but kept an even keel through it all and was always grateful for what she had. Her passing was expedient and without further suffering which I am grateful for.
