E. Joyce (Pecor) Dimick

     Charlemont- Ella Joyce (Pecor) Dimick, 87, of Mohawk Trail, died Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Buckley Health Care Center in Greenfield.

     Joyce was born in Middlebury, VT on January 14, 1930 the daughter of Harmon G. and Rose Mary (Cormier) Pecor.

     She was employed by Kendal Mills in Colrain, which later became American Fiber and Finishing for over 29 years before retiring in 1992. In her retirement she would occasionally assist as a receptionist for Robert Miller, MD in Shelburne Falls.

     In her spare time Joyce enjoyed crocheting, making afghans and baby hats for infants at Baystate Franklin Medical Center.

     She was a member of the Charlemont Federated Church.

     Survivors include her two daughters; Sharleen R. Moffatt of Buckland and Debra M. Rosenburg of Charlemont, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a brother Merle Pecor of Arizona, several nieces and nephews, and her loving dog Cloe.

     A graveside service will take place Saturday, June 10 at 1:00 pm at Leavitt Cemetery in Charlemont. Rev. Cara Hochhalter, Pastor of the Charlemont Federated Church will lead the service.

     There are no calling hours.
